The Powermonkey explorer comes neatly packed in a compact zip bag, ideal for travelling.
Charge Powermonkey unit
- Open and position the Solar-slave solar panels in a sunny area and plug into the Powermonkey-explorer input socket.
- The Red LED light indicates that the unit is charging.
Charging complete
- Once charging is complete the Powermonkey-explorer's LED light will turn green.
- The Solar-slave's green light incates solar power and the brightness alters depending on the strength of the sun.
- The portable charger is now ready to charge your digital device.
Other charging options
You can also charge the Powermonkey-explorer via the mains using the mains charger or plug directly into your computer using the USB cable provided.
Switch on
- The Powermonkey-explorer comes 60% pre-charged. Switch on by holding down the black button for 3 seconds.
- The back-lit screen will display battery capacity and charge.
- The flashing battery indicates low battery level and reminds you to re-charge.
Charge your digital device
- Select appropriate tip for your digital device and attach to the Powermonkey-explorer output cable.
- Connect output cable to digital device.
- Power bars on the LCD screen will decrease as your device is charged.
