  • Monitors Power Generated from The Turbine into The Battery

The HRDi regulator is the latest in wind turbine and solar panel charge regulator featuring a new digital display and 160W solar panel input in a dual charging system.

It has replaced the HRDX regulator and has been designed to meet the needs of increasing power demands and features a full digital display for an improved level of system information.

The HRDi regulator hybrid wind turbine/solar charge controller can charge up to two separate banks of batteries for use with the Rutland Rutland 504, Rutland 913 or Rutland FM910-3 wind turbines but can be used with other turbine as long as the wind turbine is within the HRDi regulator operating parameters.

NB a blocking diode must be fitted to the solar panel as the HRDi does not contain an internal diode.

Sophisticated controller. The pre-sales description should be more explicit - for example the description of the facility for connecting solar PV panels should mention the need for a blocking diode for each solar panel. Some controllers incorporate such blocking diodes; this does not. It should be made clear. This does not detract from the actual regulator, which is top quality.
