The Power Factor Reducer gives you the chance to start making instant energy savings which will no doubt result in the reduction of the ever expanding electricity bill. Simply plug the power factor controlling unit into the socket to begin saving on electricity used by your household appliances.

The Power Factor Reducer optimises the voltage and current demand which results in the reduction of the total current drawn from the mains. It also stabilises the voltage by storing energy for up to 10 seconds and therefore supplies load with constant voltage during momentary power surges.

By monitoring and improving the power factor of your household appliances not only will you be helping with environmental improvements you will also increase the lifespan of your electrical equipment.

    • The maximum working load for the Power Factor Reducer is 15 kW - so for the average single phase household one Power Factor Reducer is more than adequate. (Total electric load in a house varies from 3Kw to 10Kw at any given time).
    • The device does not consume power itself and has no need for maintenance.
    • Prolongs your electrical appliances life span and maintenance cost.
    • Environmentally friendly.
    • The Power Factor Reducer should not be used for a 3 phase system - most domestic loads are single phase.
    • Rated voltage: 110 - 250 VAC, 50HZ / 60HZ
    • Working temperature: 15 degrees - 60 degrees
    • For optimum results, install as close to electricity meter as possible. If it is installed too far down into the circuit, it will not be able to affect the electricity supply to other appliances ahead of it. Don't worry too much if you can't get the unit as close as you would like.
    • Most effective with inductive receivers (e.g. motors, transformers, fluorescent lighting etc).
    • No moveable parts
    • 1 year warranty
