The motion sensor switch is a passive infrared lighting control unit. The energy saving design operates by detecting body heat in motion within its field of view and switches the light on automatically. The light will remain on for approximately 5 seconds to 6 minutes, depending on the time selected/set, after all motion in the area has been stopped. A great way to save money and help protect the environment from unnecessary carbon dioxide emissions entering the atmosphere.
