Wind Trap - The History

Wind trap was founded in 2005 by childhood friends Matt and David and was initially set up with £100 and one computer in an empty farm building.

The initial focus of the business was to combine David's knowledge of wind turbines and Matts internet expertise to provide customers with the ability to install their own wind turbine kits. In 2006 the focus of Wind Trap was broadened to include energy saving products after the guys had appeared on the BBC's newsnight programme, which also featured some quality energy saving devices.

In 2008 the warehouse has been moved over to Morpeth in Northumberland where a designated office has been set up. The new website, six months in the making, has now been launched and wind trap now stocks more products at better prices than ever before.
