Who Are Wind Trap?
WindTrap started as a small company, set up by two friends in 2005. Since then WindTrap has set out with the goal of helping to provide each and every UK home owner the option of generating their own electricity, either by using our domestic wind turbine kits or our roof-top solar panels.
On the 10th October 2011, WindTrap was bought by a similar eco orientated company Orion AC&R Ltd. Orion AC&R Ltd owner of orionairsales a on-line shop that supplies heat pumps, air conditioning, solar panels and wind turbine kits. Orion was akin with the windTrap's energy saving philosophy and intends to continue with the basic wind generators and solar power ethos started when the company was setup coupled with a continuation of excellent customer service.
WindTrap will continue to stock a wide range of micro electricity wind generators, solar panel kits, Off-grid , On-Grid as well as constantly adding to our range of energy saving devices. We hope to remain the UK's premier wind turbine and solar panel on-line supplier and be in the best place to help you generate and save energy for years to come.

Having done a piece for Newsnight in 2006 WindTrap limited spotted the Owl Energy Monitor and decided to stock it. It went fantastically well and since then we've added a whole range of new energy saving devices.
