Our 12v caravan budget wind turbine kit includes all the elements that will help you to generate your own electricity for your caravan.
Our systems comprise of 5 major parts (as shown below). We have hand-picked a compatible piece of equipment for each part. This means that the system has the best parts available for the price.
We have also built this system with the caravanner in mind. It's a cheap, efficient, lightweight kit that's ideal for the caravan.

The Rutland 503 is an ideal entry level turbine that is capable of producing 60w (This would continuously power approx 5 or 6 energy saving lightbulbs).
However, as the energy is going to be stored in a battery you can save this up and use it on higher power equipment.
We have provided a 4m rigging kit that can be used to mount the turbine in a suitable area near to your caravan.
Please note: Because we have no control over how and where turbines are mounted it is your responsibility to ensure that turbines are mounted on a suitable surface and in a responsible fashion.
This kits comes with 10m of cable that runs between the turbine and the regulator.
Please note: We don't recommend more than 10m between the turbine and the regulator otherwise the system will become very inefficient. (DC voltage reduces through the cable's natural resistance).
The HRS503 is specifically designed for use with the turbine in this kit (Rutland 503).
It's the regulator's job to ensure that the battery is charged correctly and safely. It also prevents overcharge of the battery and slows the turbine down as the batteries become fully charged.
As you will already have a battery for your caravan we do not provide one with this kit. However, Battery Clips are included.
The purpose of our budget kit is to top up your caravan's battery slowly during the day.
If you're a big electricity user or have no other means of getting electricity then this probably isn't the system for you.
However, in the right settings you'd be surprised how much electricity this kit can generate and is ideal for those that want to contibute to their energy needs.
We also provide you with simple, easy-to-follow instructions in plain english to help you set up your system.
